Pastel Pinks in Hydrangeas and Peonies

Beautiful bouquet of Hydrangeas and Peonies for a bridals shoot.  We were so lucky to get these peonies in the middle of July! The very last ones available!

Yasmeen and Kyle

This weekend I had the pleasure of doing another wedding with orchids! I am loving how beautiful orchids turn out! The yellow, white and gold colors looked so elegant and rich together! The Bridal bouquet of yellow garden roses and white cymbidium orchids and calla lilies meshed together wonderfully.  All finished in an ivory and gold ribbon intertwined.
Even the toss bouquet, while making this I kept thinking this would be a fabulous accent for bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids, mothers and grandmothers had beautiful wrist corsages on pearl wrist bands with orchids and yellow roses.  Then two little flower girls (3 years old each) had a smaller orchid on a smaller special made for them wristband.
The gentlemen all had a single yellow rose tied in an ivory and gold ribbon.  So simple yet rich and elegant looking!

Kristen and Aaron's refreshing Corals and Yellows

Kristen has been such a pleasure to work with, with such a fun, light style! She wanted a bouquet of coral, white and light pink dahlias as well as yellow freesia and green hydrangeas. It turned out so fun!
The ladies had a coral dahlia corsage with freesia and the men had a shasta daisy, dahlia bud and yellow freesia - loved how these turned out!

I played around a bit with all the boutonniere's - what a fun idea for a centerpiece though with the shasta daisy, yellow freesia and dahlia buds!

Joanna and Chris' Sweet Garden Wedding

My dear friend of 23 years got married this weekend and I had the great pleasure of doing her flowers. She wanted a nice garden feel to everything incorporating orange (her favorite color) light blue (for something blue) and whites (to soften up the look). Her bridal bouquet of hydrangeas, peonies and rananculs was so light and airy!
The men had an orange dahlia with a dahlia bud boutonnierre. Simple, garden like, and still masculine.

The ladies had an orange dahlia and white lisianthus corsage.
The tables were adorned with small white ceramic vases and each one had either white dahlias, orange rananuculus, light blue sweet peas, orange garden roses or orange regular roses. It gave such a pretty light garden aire - perfect for the gorgeous garden the wedding dinner and reception took place in.
There were sweet accents around the garden such as these rustic doors and welcome sign.
The sign in book with garden birds, orange of course, and a bouquet of orange roses and garden roses.
Such a fun idea! On one of the peach trees there was a timeline of each one of their lives leading up to their marriage.

Tehani's Polynesian White's and Gold's

Tehani chose colors of white and gold to accent her Polynesian styled wedding.  We designed a bridal bouquet of white calla lilies with white freesia and cream spray roses to soften it up a little, all accented with gold sparkles and a beautiful gold band.  So elegant!

The mother's had these beautiful pin on corsages of white orchids and yellow freesia, accented with the gold sparkles as well.  And bridesmaids had matching corsages that went on a delicate pearl wrist band.

The gentlemen had a single white calla lily with bear grass and a gold ribbon.  The groom had the same but 2 calla lilies.  Have I mentioned I love a simple elegant calla lily for a boutonniere? Not only does it look so clean and gorgeous, but it is also one of the sturdiest flowers for a boutonniere.

Roses

A family in the ward just lost their beloved son.  I thought these roses could be a good expression of love for them.

Brighton Jensen's Beatiful Blues

This weekend I had the opportunity to a wedding for the bride who won the bridal package from the Thanksgiving Point Bridal Fair.  She had a bridal bouquet from Blossoms and Company.
Brighton wanted a deep blue color so we spray painted these hydrangeas to get the perfect hue and added ivory garden roses.
The bridesmaids had lovely bouquets of ivory garden roses with a white and navy ribbon tied to match the bridal bouquet.

At Blossoms & Company we are constantly looking for ways to make your wedding day as seamless as possible.  We have recently changed our way of pinning on mother's corsages so even on light and silky clothing they will still stay up the correct way:)
